Construction

We recently received some new construction toys from another classroom.

In the afternoons we have a small group of children. They have been able to build many different things because of the uninterrupted play time they receive. 

Talking about what they were building. 

Showing off their creations - 2 light sabers and a Lego computer. 

  

Ice blocks

To enhance the children's outdoor play the staff started collecting milk cartons and yogurt containers to make ice blocks. 

The children have been helping fill the cartons with water.

After they are filled we put them outside 

It may be freezing outside but the children still want to put the carton outside them selves 

We have been filling cartons for the last few weeks 

We will post again when we pull the ice blocks out!
