Valentine's Day!

We wanted to celebrate the day of love, so we decided that a great way to show how much we cared about each other was to make a special breakfast that the teachers and families could all contribute to.

Our School age 1 families brought in all our yummy topping and sides. While the teachers made some homemade waffle batter.

First thing Friday morning the teachers and a few helping hands started to prepare the food.

"Mmmm, turkey bacon!"

Next the teachers started to make the pink waffles.

Once everything was ready, we all sat down together and enjoyed the breakfast we all made.

While we were sitting and eating we decided that it would be a great idea to spread some of our classroom love to our kindergarten teachers at Stevenson School.

We made them a plate filled with waffles, turkey bacon and some fresh fruit.

We were all very excited to bring the teachers our plates of love:)

One of the kindergarten teachers was on duty outside so we gave both plates to the other teacher and asked her pass the food along.

We all really enjoyed sharing and brighten up someone else's day.

Happy Valentine's Day 😘

Here's the recipe for the waffles if anyone is interested in making them at home.
