Playing in the sand creating banana bread.
Balancing with no hands on the different sized spools.
Racing the tree pots down the hill, while finding innovative ways to carry them back up the hill.
Relaxing with friends and taking a cool break in the tunnel.
Throwing the football around.
Balancing on boards that we carefully placed to make a path.
Making a house a home....
...and what is a home without people to share it with?
Finding a huge branch on the ground.
Climbing and jumping.
Then just before lunch we moved to the Play Garden.
We explored the climbers....
...And checked on our garden boxes. The peas and lettuce were ready to harvest again! We will have a lovely garden snack in the afternoon.

Some of us decided to carry over the house play to the Play Garden and built a home out of blocks.
We had a picnic lunch outside to finish off our morning.
Child who started at Discovery last week - "Yay!!! Are we having a picnic?!?"
Child who has been attending Discovery for a few years - "Not really a picnic, It's just lunch outside."
