Outdoor week day 3

Today's adventure outside involved rain and puddles.

We are very lucky in School Age 1 to have received some grant money to purchase rain gear from MEC.
The children stayed nice and dry all morning!

The teachers took out some loose parts and other toys for the children to build with.

Using their imagination to create something new.

The creativity just kept going......

And going.

While some of the children were building, some of the other children started a team building game.

How many kid does it take to pick up a friend?

This continued for a long time. Each of the children took a turn being picked up.

After a few tries the children start to figure out other ways to successfully pick up and carry their friend.

During this game the children worked on problem solving, team building, creating friendships and delevoping gross motor muscles.

A great day spent in the rain!
