Outdoor week day 5: Deck and Park

We started our morning on the deck. The teachers set out play experiences and there was a lot of learning and interacting during our play.

We saw a chipmunk and he tried to get into our classroom! Good thing the screen was closed.

Using fine motor skills, turn taking, patience and cooperation.

Balancing.

Using our imaginations and a sense of humour.

Socializing and role playing.

Being cozy and looking at things from a different perspective when peeking through the pillows.

Cooperation, listening to each others ideas.

Team work and more patience.

Pride in our accomplishments.

Walking to King Edward an Ness park. Having conversations about what we will do at the park and plans for the weekend. We also saw different construction vehicles on the way and talked about what each vehicles job is.

Almost there!!

Waiting patiently and looking at all the fun things to explore while the teachers do a safety check. The teachers always explore each play area to make sure there is nothing dangerous before we play.

Let the climbing, exploring and interactions with our friends begin!!

Have a fabulous weekend!!
