This morning while we were outside we explored the garden and found some peas that were ready to be harvested. We picked them, washed them and put them aside for afternoon snack.
Even though it was a gloomy start to out first week outside we still had a great time working together and creating new friendships.
We brought out the bubbles today! With the bubbles we brought out just a few bubble blowers and we also brought out some straws and twine. We wanted to be inventive so we attached the twine to the straws to see if we could make our own bubble blowers. With some patience and practice the straw and twine bubble blowers worked out great! They sure made some big bubbles.
After lunch we even had our rest outside. There was a lot of noisy traffic on Silver Ave so it was hard to rest. Some of the children thought it was "so awesome...we get to have a sleepover outside!!".
