Our gardens are producing a wonderful amount of vegetables for us to enjoy.
We harvested lettuce, carrots, celery, cucumbers and snap peas.
Ms. Cottrell - "Why do you think the carrot is purple?"
Child - "Because it doesn't turn orange until you eat it!!"
We will be making a few different snack foods this week with the items we picked.
Lettuce wraps
Salad
Pancit
We will also be pickling our cucumbers! Yummy pickles!
