A Whole Whack of Garden Snack

Today was a lovely gardening day! While we played in the Front Play Garden and on the structures, some of our friends took turns inspecting the gardens. The first thing we noticed was that our peas were done growing for the season, their leaves were all drying and it was not growing peas anymore. So a couple of our friends used their big muscles to pull them out.

They got every last bit!

Then it was time to find more seeds to plant that will grow fast before it gets too cold!

It was not an easy choice since we have sooooooo many seeds! But after reading some of our planting instructions, we decided on more peas, beets, and spinach!

We found it pretty neat how different all the seeds were.

Time to put them in the ground and help them grow! If we succeed we'll be growing our own snacks right up until the frost comes!

This morning we had more zucchini muffins from our garden (this time with apples) and we noticed something we didn't last time around; you can't even taste the zucchini! We were eating vegetables without even noticing! This afternoon; Caesar salad and zucchini pizzas! We love helping prepare!

...even if we don't always like the end result!
